The Connecticut League of Museums (CLM) has the privilege of being supported by an experienced staff that is dedicated to helping museums, libraries, and cultural institutions achieve greatness. Amrys O. Williams

Executive Director

Amrys O. Williams became CLM's first full-time executive director in 2019. She came to the League from the Hagley Museum and Library, where she was Associate Director and Oral Historian in the Center for the History of Business, Technology, and Society. Amrys has a Ph.D. in the History of Science, Medicine, and Technology from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, where her research focused on U.S. agriculture in the 20th century. She has taught history at Wesleyan University, and has led and launched several digital and public history projects, including an exhibition on the history of the Van Vleck Observatory and an oral history podcast.

Originally from upstate New York, Amrys has called Connecticut home since 2008. She lives in Middletown with her husband and son, who love to join her exploring Connecticut's museums and historic landscapes.

Emily is the Membership & Programs Manager at CLM. Emily joins the League coming from the Connecticut Restaurant Association, the non-for-profit trade association serving Connecticut’s greater hospitality industry. Prior to working for CRA, Emily served as a contracted Data Analyst for the Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut’s Cradle-to-Career Initiative. Her passion within her career is legislative advocacy, and has spent her time lobbying and working on many state and local campaigns. She has chaired state chapters for grassroots community groups as well as served on the Policy Committee for CWEALF (Connecticut Women’s Education and Legal Fund). She currently serves as Program Chair of the Nutmeg Spinner’s Guild.

Emily holds a B.A. in Political Science from UConn with minors in French and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies as well as a Master of Public Policy from UConn’s School of Public Policy. In her free time, she enjoys knitting, the local folk music scene, and exploring local cuisine.

Amy Albert

Amy Albert is pursuing an M.A. in Public History with a concentration in Museum Studies at Central Connecticut State University. She holds M.A.s from UConn in Anthropology '01 and History '04; with a B.A. in History with a Major in African History and a Minor in French. Amy serves as the Board President at the Middlesex County Historical Society in Middletown.

A varied and interdisciplinary career, she has taught High School Social Studies at Hartford and Hall High Schools, been an Instructor at Albert Magnus, worked in Communications at the State Capitol, served as Interim Executive Director at a local non-profit, and built relationships, connections, and followed her curiosity throughout Connecticut. 

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Amy has lived in Paris, France where she studied at the Sorbonne, and moved to Connecticut 25 years ago. She lives with with her husband and daughter in Middletown, CT. 


Diane Lee is the Connecticut Collections Project Coordinator for the Connecticut League of Museums and also the Collections Manager at the Fairfield Museum and History Center, in Fairfield, Connecticut where she first started working with CollectiveAccess and the consortium model in 2016. Previously holding the Collections Manager position at the Connecticut Historical Society for a number of years, her experience has included everything from database management, to cataloging and digitizing 2-D and 3-D material, overseeing collection moves, and even construction projects involving HVAC system upgrades. She believes in putting order to the chaos of museum and library records by organizing and bringing together their information in a straightforward and rational way that allows us to more easily find and tell the stories of our collections.

Dana J. Meyer

Dana J. Meyer is an MA student in Public History at Central Connecticut State University, with a propensity for technological innovation. As the newest member of CLM, he brings his passion of database architecture, data analysis, and familiarity of copyright, accessibility, and web design to Connecticut Collections. He has worked as a Research Assistant at the Center for Connecticut Studies and was a recipient of the 2019- 2020 Digital History Fellowship at the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media at George Mason University. His research focuses on mapping Connecticut Revolutionary War Deserters, and most recently the relationship between desertion and the newspaper presses as an apparatus of war.

Jenifer brings with her more than 20 years of bookkeeping experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Mount Aloysius in Cresson, Pennsylvania. In addition to the Bookkeeper position at CLHO, Jenifer holds the position of Bookkeeper at the Submarine Force Library & Museum in Groton, Connecticut.

When not working, you can find Jenifer on an adventure with her husband and 2 daughters, in her kitchen cooking a delicious meal, or spending time outdoors. She loves to experience new places and to spend time walking, hiking, or just enjoying nature’s beauty.
