Is your museum, historical society, community organization or municipality planning to commemorate the centennial of WWI?
If the answer is yes, this workshop is for you!
Come gather with members of Connecticut's World War I Centennial Commemoration Committee and organizations throughout the state as we discuss and share plans for state-wide, regional and local WWI centennial commemorations.
This is your chance to...
...share your plans that are "in the works"
...hear about plans for a new exhibit at the Museum of Connecticut History with a traveling exhibit component
...give input into the WWI in Connecticut themes that have been proposed to guide exhibit planning
...learn how to list your WWI related events on a statewide calendar
...exchange information with colleagues, create networks for regional planning, and learn about the resources available to you.
This program is free, but pre-registration is required due to limited space. If you have questions about the event, feel free to contact Liz Shapiro at liz@clho.org or call 860-685-7595. Please feel free to forward this information to your colleagues and additional interested parties.
