With all of the rapid changes and uncertainty in today's museum world, help is on the way in the form of a StEPs-CT Virtual Open House & Reunion. Connecticut Humanities and the Connecticut League of History Organizations are joining forces to reunite organizations who participated in the StEPs-CT program—as well as those who have not yet done StEPs-CT but are interested in learning more—to talk about the issues and concerns most on your organization’s mind today.
StEPs-CT is based on the Standards and Excellence Program for History Organizations (StEPs), a national model curriculum developed by the American Association for State and Local History. From 2012 to 2017, 47 Connecticut organizations went through the StEPs-CT program and worked for two years to make positive changes through professional development, facilitated conversation, mentorship, and competitive grant funding.
This Virtual Open House & Reunion is designed for all past StEPs-CT participants, as well as organizations interested in learning more about StEPs-CT.
