Our customized CTCo CollectiveAccess instance was created with many things in mind, but the priority being ease of use. We have tried to create a system that has a easy learning curve so you can spend less time learning and more time getting your collections findable and usable. (And publicly accessible if that’s one of your goals.)

This session will focus just on entering museum collection information into the system, touching on best practices and consistency. We highly recommend this training for anyone who will be using the system in whatever capacity, whether it be full-time staff, part-time, and volunteers. We will be covering things like object naming, descriptions, entities, subject headings, and searching.

We are planning on an hour session, but will be happy to go longer if people are willing.

If you have any questions about this session beforehand, please get in touch at ctco@clho.org
