Preservation Connecticut recently announced the 2026 round of the 1772 Foundation Connecticut Matching Grants for Historic Preservation. These awards provide up to $10,000 to non-profits (excluding churches, schools, and municipalities) for projects including exterior painting, finishes and surface restoration, fire detection, lightning protection, security systems, and building repairs.
Join Preservation Connecticut staff for an overview of the grant program, including information on previously funded projects, how to prepare a successful application, and a quick tutorial on Preservation Connecticut's new grant portal.
Grant inquiries are due by 5:00 p.m. on December 5th, 2025.
